Servers & Bartenders

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome guests and provide attentive, professional service throughout their visit.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Rena’s menu, including Italian-inspired dishes, seafood, steaks, pasta, wine and cocktails.

• Make recommendations and answer guest questions regarding menu items, ingredients and preparation.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately.
• Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs throughout the dining experience.
• Maintain clean, organized and properly set dining areas.
• Process guest checks and payments accurately.
• Follow all responsible alcohol service requirements and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar and front-of-house team members.
• Assist fellow team members as needed to maintain smooth restaurant operations.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and service standards.
• Contribute to a positive, professional and team-oriented work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous restaurant serving or bartending experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during busy service periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Bartenders must meet all applicable requirements for serving alcohol.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely carry food and beverage trays.
